Mushrooms enthusiasts around Europe will have the opportunity to explore the fungi kingdom, to learn all the tips about mushrooms’ hunt, to enjoy nature and taste delicious meals during this fall season. Cardiff Autumn Foraging Course

This course is a simple foraging walk for edible fungi, plants, berries and flowers. The course starts there with a 20 minute introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes where they relate to foragers. Of course, some wild mushroom soup is included and possibly some tasty Fruit Leathers.

The National Fair of the Porcini Mushroom of Albareto has become a fixed event on the second weekend of September!
It was born in 1996 at the initiative of some volunteers, entrepreneurs and municipal directors who were looking for the best way to exploit these areas by increasing interest in the Porcini Fungus and its implications of tourism, wine and food. The town of Albareto, about 2.200 inhabitants, is immersed in the unspoiled beauty of the Apennine Parmense, rich in woods, vegetation, waterways and served by a functional crossroads of roads and links with the nearby Liguria and Tuscany regions.
